This is the sacrifice-table they were sagrificing the virgins here.. Cutting out heards and using the blood...

Auf meinem Boot war auch eine Brasilianerin.

Wie hat Deutschland nochmal gegen Brasilien gespielt?

On mr boat were three brazilians. How germany played agains Brasil at the worldcup again?

Nach La Paz /  To La Paz

Awesome up here, titicacalake and in the background snowy andes.

sweet.

"All right" with Evo Morales. He is the old and new president and he is creating a welfare-state.

Die Faehre ueber den Titicacasee

Ferrycrossing on Titicacalake

The welder at work

When I left La Paz there was a desert and I saw the first salt-surfaces

Die ersten Lagunen / First Lagoons

And the first Lagoon I saw aswell

 Trockene Hochplateaus / Dry high-level

Und das ist die Pampa / This they call pampa

Potosi, Potosi, Potosi

Potosi was the richest City in the world

In Potosi is a huge silvermine. Since this mine exist arround 1500 after Christ, unbelievable 8million workers died in this mine. This City ist the highest in the world and it was the richest city aswell. When there was a party in Potosi (easter or christmas) they were paving the roads with silver.

When the contistadors from spain came they took all this silver and in europe was the first time more "money" than work. That means they started to invest. This is the reasom why Potosi is the beginning of the european kapitalism

In Potosi you can buy dynamite at the market

The dynamite I did not bought but I bought Coca-leafes as a present for the worker

Und 96%igen Trinkalkohol fuer als Schnaeppschen zwischendurch...

And 96% Alcohol to drink. I never thought that you can drink this shit

I canged my cloth and Im now ready to go in the cerro rico, the rich mountain

It was extreme darfk and wet inside

Die Holzkonstruktionen auch sehr abenteuerlich..

The wooden-construction was not propper done

They just take the dynamite find a corner and "boom", explode it

You hear so often this big bang fof the dynamiteexplosion and the mountain is a kind of shaking

Warum gibt es hier diese Fahnen?

Why are here this flags?

Dekoration von der letzten Karnevalsfeier. Sin die jeck die Bolivianos...!

This is decoration from the last karnevals-party.

Crazy guys.

This guy was quite happy when I gave him coca-leafes and alcohol

We climbed almost 2 hours in small holes

Eingaengen heraus.

And finally we came out through one of the 500 entrances

16.000 Arbeiter sind da taeglich drin.

16.000 workers are in the mine every day

Potosi - Uyuni

This smurf is a birthday-presend and he is now surfing on my mirror

Auf dem Weg nach Uyuni

My way to Uyuni

The landscape changed every minute and was always strange

 Rot / red

Gruen mit grau / green and grey

Finally a kind of yellow aswell when I saw Uyuni from the top

Uyuni

Why I came to Uyuni?

My plan ist to cross the salt-face and I will try to go on the "Lagoon-route" to chile. It is one of the craziest landscape on this planet. The problem is this are 500km salt, deep sand, rocky and I have to cross a river. There is almost no fues and almost no shops to buy food. Beginning of 2014 the "Rally Paris-Dakar" was crossing this area.

If I can do it and how I managed my lagoon-expedition you will see in the next post.
