Auf dem Weg von Arequipa nach Puno hatte ich eine kleine Panne...
On my way from Arequipa to Puno I had a small breakdown
Das Problem war es war eiskalt und es regnete wie die Sau

Ich nenne es mal schwierige Bedingungen / I call it hard way to ride
Zum Glueck war die Strasse aber frei / Luckily there was no ice on the road
In der Dunkelheit und im aufkommenden Nebel nahm mich eine indigene Familie auf.
It was getting dark and foggy. A indigen family gave me a home
Am morgen wurden gerade die Alpacas "verarbeitet"
At the morning they were skinning the alpacas
Zum Glueck gibt es immer mal Menschen die in der Einsamkeit leben...
Sometimes you find people living in the wildeness
Eigentlich kannte ich den Weg, weil ich Ihn schon nach Arequipa gefahren war, aber diesmal zeigte er sich mit einem anderen Gesicht

Puno am / at Lago titicaca
In Puno traf ich Heike die Freundin von meinem Bruder, die als Reiseorganisatorin mit einer Reisegruppe in Peru unterwegs war. Anke, Heikes Zwillingsschwester und Kalle der Papa der beiden war auch dabei.
In Puno I met the girlfriend of my brother, she organize travels and was here in Peru with a group of germans. Her twin-sister

Los Ururos
Die Ururos sind ein Volk was auf schwimmenden Inseln lebt.
Gefertigt aus trockenem Schilf
Ururos this are people who are living on floating islands.
Made of reed
Sieht lustig aus auch weil es keine Baeume oder so auf den Inseln gibt
Looks funny even because there are no trees or other vegetation on the islands
Auch die Boote werden traditionell aus Schilf gemacht, allerdings fast nur noch fuer die Touristen
They create the boats aswell from reed, but they just use them for the tourists
Das Boot im Bau, als Kern verwenden die schlauen Ururus mittlerweile Plastikflaschen.
They are building a boat here but they use today plasticbottles as a stuffing
Boden aus Schilf, Haeuser aus Schilf und die Boote aus Schilf
Ground made of reed, huts made of reed and boats made of reed also
Das "moderne Dach" ist das Faltdach
The modern roof is the folding roof
Hier wird erklaert, wie die Schwimmkoerper, Boden und die Familie oben auf zusammen auf dem Wasser ueberleben
Here they demonstrate how the swimmblocks, the ground and the family on the top are able to survive together
Die Schulgebaeude, sind zwar aus Blech, schwimmen aber trotzdem
the schoolbuilding is made of steel but they float aswell
Und auch die Solarzelle gibt es hier...
And solarpanels they have aswell...

Isla de "no se"
Wir fuhren weiter etwa zwei Stunden mit dem Boot bis wir die Isla "no se" erreichten, eine der letzten unspruenglichen Inseln. Allerdings mit festem Boden.
We took the boat and moved ahead to isla "no se" one of the old indigen islands in the lake titicaca. But they have hard ground here.

Dass Frauen auf dem Feld arbeiten das sieht man oft, dass Maenner stricken eher selten...

Immer entlang das Titicacasees. Fuhr ich am gleichen See in ein anderes Land. Bolivien!
Alsways along the titicacalake. I rode along the same lake but in another country. Bolivia!
Und am Ende auch zu meinen peruanischen Freunden
DANKE!!! Vor allem fuer die ersten Wochen. Ich meine meine Perureise begann mit einem Loch im Kolben. Wueste aus Sand und ich endete in der Wueste der Ersatzteile.
Danke "Lambrespas" und "zuAuto" fuer eure Hilfe, dass Ihr mich zurueck auf die Reise gebracht habt.
Der restliche Dank gebuehrt den unzaehligen Menschen die Haus, Hof und Herz oeffneten!!
